Product Description”I had been Jonathan’s slave for about a year when he told me he wanted to sell me at an auction. I wasn’t in any condition to respond when he told me this. ” So begins Carrie’s tale of uncompromising sexual adventure. Set in San Francisco and Napa Valley, this is an erotic journey into the netherworld of slave auctions and training regimes. Imagine Story of O starring a Berkeley Ph. D. in comparative lit who moonlights as a bike messenger and has a penchant for irony, self-analysis, and anal sex. “My favorite neo-Victorian erotic romance writer . . . bring on the ponies!” — Susie Bright

I did not like this book at all. It is nothing like I thought it would be. I thought it was about a continuing story of Carrie Bradshaw the Sex In The City character. It was NOT! This is a S&M story and I have no interest in that whatsoever.

I really enjoyed this book. I am passing it to some cool friends I have. Maybe this way some minds will start to open.
I can not wait to read the sequel. It made me be tied up. Hey, you have to experience everthing in life. . . or not?
Go ahead, buy it.

Really, for a book invovling tons of bondage and kinky sex, this book was pretty bland. For all of the emotional response that the main character had to all that she was going through, she could have been describing a visit to the post office or DMV. The author never really discussed WHY this woman would willingly allow herself to be enslaved, used, and abused; so it was hard to really care about what was going on. This is the first novel I’ve read by this author, and the last.
